Set in the picturesque Berkshires of Connecticut, Greenwood Trails' nature-filled camp grounds have all the elements to create fabulous summers. With over 100 beautifully wooded acres, complete with winding paths and hiking trails, our traditional camp setting welcomes campers to join in the fun. Our comfortable cabins and extensive sports, arts, adventure, and aquatic facilities provide the perfect backdrop for cutting edge summertime adventures. These facilities will be constantly modernized, with new facilities added each year.
 Camper Accommodations
A camper’s cabin is the heart of each child’s “camp family.” Campers live together in cabins or “bunks”, each housing 6-12 campers and 2 counselors. It is in these “homes away from home” that campers learn to live together as a group, share, and respect each other. Our rustic cabins are clean and comfortable, and all include electricity, bathrooms, and shower facilities with hot and cold running water.
Campers are taught to make their beds, care for their own belongings, and work together to keep the cabin clean. Our professional housekeeping staff sanitizes the bathrooms daily.
Dining Hall
Campers sit together by cabin in our spacious dining hall, where they enjoy delicious meals and special times with friends and counselors. It is hard to compete with Mom’s home cooking, but meals at Greenwood Trails come in a close second! The balanced menu is designed to provide delicious and nutritious meals that the campers will enjoy eating. Lunch and dinner also always includes a fully stocked salad bar. Accommodations are made for campers with special dietary needs including vegetarian options. Greenwood Trails is a nut free camp.
