 About United Martial Arts
United Martial Arts is not just an exercise or self defense program. It is a proven way for your child to develop a strong, disciplined mind and healthy body.
Through this training, students are taught respect and communication,
discipline and determination. True confidence and self esteem are natural
outcomes of the process of learning and developing ones physical skills
through practice. The correct and well balanced movements, forms and
exercises taught in this unique and ancient system of martial and healing
arts have been passed down from generation to generation through specially
developed teaching methods. The basis of self respect, respecting one's
surroundings and environment and the respect for other living beings is the
foundation to the approach.
The lessons your child will learn though their training, whether they only attend a single summer, or continue to practice for years to come, will positively affect every aspect of their lives, their understanding of their own minds and bodies, and their relationships to others around them.
